AC charging pile is divided into household charging pile and shared charging pile. The main difference between the household charging pile and the shared charging pile is that there is a communication module in the shared charging pile. Whether it is 4G communication or WiFi communication, the hardware signal will be deducted after scanning the code or swiping the card, and then the car will be charged. Therefore, only other specifications of AC charging pile are discussed here.

At present, there are national standards, European standards and American standards for AC charging piles according to charging interfaces on the market. How to distinguish them.

National standard, there are 7 holes in total,

The American standard has two fewer charging ports than the national standard,

American standard mainly uses 120V and 240V charging voltages,

The European standard is different from the national standard and the American standard. The charging gun is male and the charging interface is female,

The rated voltage of European standard is generally 230.

European standard charging gun (single-phase and three-phase currents are divided into 16A and 32A) American javelin 16A 32A 40A (regardless of single-phase and three-phase) National standard gun (single-phase and three-phase) current 16A and 32A

At present, when using the charging gun, we must pay attention to the thickness of the charging line. The 10A socket may be connected with a 1.5 cubic meter pure copper cable, which cannot bear the charging power of the 16A charging gun (the 16A socket is connected with a 2.5 cubic meter pure copper cable). Be careful, otherwise short circuit or fire may occur.

General charging guns have: anti leakage, lightning protection, short circuit protection, over-current protection, overheating protection and grounding protection.
