Introduction to two modes of charging gun for new energy vehicles

Two modes of electric vehicle charging gun are introduced as follows:

Mode 1:

Charging gun (plug type): one end is the charging gun head plugged into the vehicle charging port, and the other end is the plug directly plugged into the power grid. The advantage of this may be that it is cheap, but the disadvantage is that the security is poor, and the grounding measures need to be taken steadily.

Mode 2:

Charging gun (plug type): one end is the charging gun head plugged into the vehicle charging port, the middle is a control protection device, and the other end is the plug plugged into the power grid. The general standards to be met are GB/T18487.1-2015 and GB/T 20234.2-2015. In addition, the relevant standards for household power plugs GB 2099.1-2008 should be met. The power is generally 3.3KW and below. The common current is 10A, 16A or so, which is suitable for home use. The 16A air conditioner socket can be plug and play at home. The advantage is that it is convenient, the power distribution requirements are low, and the disadvantage is that the charging is slow, and the distance is too long. The theoretical charging time is 3.3KWH (degree) per hour, and the actual charging efficiency will be lower than the theoretical value. The charging gun in mode 2 is usually presented with the car when purchasing.
